Suggest Treatment For Acid Reflux

My throat has been feeling like maybe there s a bit of my stomach acid coming up? Not a lot, just so it hurts for a minute, then goes away. This has happened a couple of times today, but never before that. I have also been coughing a bit for the past few days, but I just assumed it was because I have cat fur in my throat (I just got a new kitten on Sunday) and my body just wasn t used to it yet.

Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Acid reflux may be due to reduced lower esophageal sphincter tone. Following steps may be taken
1 Don't lie down immediately after eating food. Taking a small walk would be helpful
2. Take omeprazole 20mg empty stomach in the morning daily for a week
3. Avoid spicy and acidic foods. Also avoid gas forming vegetables like cauliflower, cabbage, radish etc

If problem persist visit a gastro enterologist
Don't worry you would be fine
Hoping your query is solved
