Hi.
Very odd question!!
I would like to clear some points_
First of all you have not given any history.
If you have gone for an
ultrasonography , there has to be a reason.
If you have the following things it may be appendicitis:
The pain starts in the upper abdomen, usually above the umbilical region.
You may get a temporary relief wherein- the pain may then shift to right lower abdomen.
Nausea and vomiting may be associated.
Fever may be there or not there.
Some stomach upsets like loose motions or
constipation may be present.
IF you have such symptoms then probably the ultrasonography report is right in saying that you have appendicitis.
Secondly in some cases there may be more than 6 m diameter of the appendicitis and may be a fecolith and this is classical for the
Radiologist to give you the the report of appendicitis.
Best way for you is to take
second opinion of a
General Surgeon, who will take your full history, examine you physically to see for the signs of appendicitis.
and then the decision can be taken for further treatment .
