Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain With Irregular Bowel Movement
Hi, ma I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...my name is don and I went to see my family doctor today. I have been experiencing severe abdominal pain after eating. I have also had irregular bowel movements. This has been going on for about 10 days and I am beginning to panic. She told me it sounds like pancreatitus and I am not willing to exept that. I do drink heavily

Are you alcoholic?
Abdominal pain after eating may be due to gastritis or peptic ulcers disease or irritable bowel syndrome or inflammatory bowel problems or infections or malabsorption syndromes or pancreatitis in case of alcoholic etc.
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Use tablet Pantoprazole. Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks.
Get it done ultrasound abdomen, stool examination, serum amylase, and lipase estimation.
If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
