Hello,

You will need a urine analysis and culture to confirm the diagnosis. Management of UTI is with antibiotics like Nitrofurantoin. Please be advised to follow-up with your primary care provider to confirm the diagnosis and get started on antibiotics. Meanwhile, drink plenty of fluids to help flush the bacteria out. You can also take Tylenol (if not allergic) for pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal
