Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Bruise Caused After An Injury

I significantly bruised my lower left abdomen the other night. I tripped over a folding chair, causing it to fold into my stomach. It is causing me pain two days later and I was wondering if I should be concerned of any possible internal damage I may have caused. Thank you!

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi, I value your concern regarding the symptoms. I have gone through your symptoms, and in my opinion if you have no problem breathing eating and passing flatus, rest in piece, and let the injured abdominal wall heal, if you want to be sure I would recommend you to get a USG abdomen done.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
Special note- Any medication prescribed needs to be taken after consultation with your personal doctor only.
