General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

* Sounds to be in relation with disturbances of gut flora or digestive enzymes.

Secondary emphasis has to be considered with drug-related as there may be an assembly of drugs running on for the bypass issue.

* Primary guidelines at present

- drink more liquids
- high fibre diet intake
- bulk-forming laxatives
- regular walking, exercises
- control of blood sugar, cholesterol, body weight
- discuss the issue with a cardiologist for further work up with the existing medications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
