Suggest treatment for a wound on the leg

Two weeks ago, as I was getting off an exercise machine at my health club, the calf of my leg, Gastrocnemius was hit by the moving wheel of the elliptical that was right behind me. It hurt a lot but after a couple of minutes I was able to walk with a slight limp. After about four or five days, most of the pain subsided although a green and yellow bruise appeared where the calf was hit. So, I went to the health club a week later, and even used one of the machines to lift 80 lbs with the top of my feet (talus calcaneuses). A couple days later, when I was getting off my bed, I felt a small pull or snap. Now I have large purple bruises about six inches below the calf muscles that are surrounded by a green bruise. Should I be concerned? I have very little pain? I am a 61 year old healthy male and I do not have a history of blood clots, diabetes, stroke or heart issues. I am in good health.

hi.welcome to healthcare magic.i understand your opinion is that,
1.apply cold compressions over the bruise.
2.elevate the bruised area while sleeping.
3.apply fusiderm ointment twice daily over the lesions.
4.take analgesics like tablet ibuprofen twice daily for 7 days ,if you have pain.
5.maintain good hygiene around the area.
thank you.
hope my answer will help you.
