Suggest Treatment For A Skin Rash On The Waist
I went to the clinic because my right side was hurting. I had a CT scan which revealed nothing in the abdomed but.. a mass under my right breast so now I m going to have a mammogram. He didn t check my side. Yesterday after I came home I found a rash starting at my waistline and the needles like pain and simply not feeling good. My right side has been swollen since it all started. Dowe have lymphnodes in that area and would shingles cause it to swell. Thank you.

Hello..you are having a typical episode of herpes zoster it starts with the pain and burning sensation followed by appearance of vesicles in the dermatomal distribution over one side of body. Even lymph nodes can enlarge and be painful. start taking tab acyclovir 800 mg 5 times a day along with pain killer with topical application of calamine lotion , take full course of anti virals for seven days.
