Suggest Treatment For A Red Spot On The Scrotum
ok, my boyfriend had a white bump on his scrotum that opened and is constantly weeping blood and pus and smells horrible. At the same time, I just went to the doctor and found out I have foliculitus and a fungus. I described what my boyfriend has, but my doctor said it didn't sound the same and he would need to see it. He prescribed me Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream USP and I told my boyfriend to use it. He did and now his leg that touches that part of his scrotum is also open and weeping, the purple from the fungus is gone, but now half of his scrotum and a red spot about 3" X 2" is red and has a sheen to it. Please advise.

This is a form of an infection peculiar top this part of the body because of its position, nature of skin and sweat glands, usually covered position.
Local application of liquid povidone iodine (and nothing else) will help to clean up the infection locally. Addition of a good antibiotic, metrogyl and oral anti-fungal tablet will heal this up nicely..
I hope yo too should follow the same thing. Refrain from sexual contacts for a week or till both of you get disease -free.
