Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I can´t relax. It feels like I feel my heart pounding in my head because I feel like im always in a stress mode. It somehow developed in the army where I was in a constant run. And when I came back nothing was normal.. I have waited 3 years to get my mood back to normal but I never seem to reach status quo. It´s starting to feel hopeless.. I also feel strange on my neck area.. Like my nervous system is stretched. If I stop breathing even then my heart pounds higher than normal and wont settle down..
Appropriate treatment demands accurate diagnosis Diagnosis needs physician consultation and investigations… Get examined / A cardiologist & Neurologist can exclude any underlying lesion in their speciality Then, psychological assessment and assistance will help / some drugs like beta blockers are useful in such situations – discuss with your primary care provider… Prognosis is generally excellent in such situations…
Take care Good luck
