Suggest treatment for a perforated eardrum

hi, my father who is 61 year old, is now facing little hearing problem, doctor reports said that there is hole in eardrums and its to be operated, want to know more details, why this happened and how can it be treated and how much it s going to spend on operation

Hole in the eardrum is usually caused by trauma or infection fluid collection in the middle ear. It affects hearing. It may transmit the infection to the middle ear. So it needs repair. For the cost, contact a local doctor.
