Suggest Treatment For A Painful Lump On The Wrist

Hello, About two months ago I injured my wrist. I think I slept on it weirdly and I was in a lot of pain. I went into A&E and they said it was a sprain and gave me a bandage for it. Since then, the pain had slowly gone away, however I have noticed a lump on my wrist (where I was hurt). It has been there for a while now. It is on the top of my wrist so not the palm side. What could it be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having synovitis of metacarpal joint producing swelling as there is h/o injury on the part.
Possibility of having Wrist Ganglion should be ruled out.
Consult your doctor and get examined.
Meanwhile go for ice pack on the part.
Ok and take care.
