Suggest Treatment For A Painful Lump On The Ear Of A Child

I believe my 2 year old son has some type of allergic reaction to mosquito bites. Once bitten he gets these oversize lumps that takes days to go down and normally leaves dark committed scars in the area. I m concerned today bc he has a lump behind his right ear and I can t tell if it s from being bitten or the result of the ear infection and cold he was diagnosed with last week.

Confirm the diagnosis before the Treatment Planning-
By the facts of your query,In my opinion,you seem to have Post-auricular lymphadenitis from Ear infection after the Cold attack your baby-son got last week.
Treatment-
Antibiotics/anti-inflammatory treatment from your doctor, if responded would confirm the infective cause of it.Non response would need Second opinion from Ent Surgeon who would direct further treatment after proper examination and investigations,accordingly.
But don't worry as it is not Cancerous and Could be treated by -
Surgical Excision with Biospy,which would confirm further treatment line.
