I found what i thought was a pimple about 2 weeks ago on my testicle however it no longer appears to be that. It has become larger and there is some pain if I attempt to pop it, its about as large as a raisin and when squeezed becomes very red like the blood is rushing to the surface

Pimple on the scrotal skin that becomes larger and becomes red and oozes blood on popping is obviously a small abscess.
You need to take a proper course of antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medicines and have povidone iodine dressings twice a day.
