Suggest Treatment For A Painful Bump On The Rib Cage

On my left side, my rib sticks up higher than my right rib like a bump and it has been giving my pain lately. I hit that rib really hard and now it has been hurting worse than before. I was wondering what it would visually look like if I had pectus excavatum or floating rib. I m a little scared to go to the doctor because I don t know what is wrong with me and I don t have health insurance.

Hi,
As there is hard hit on that rib there might be having displaced fracture of that rib producing pain and bump.
Go for x-ray rib to rule out fracture.
Meanwhile take NSAID medicine for pain.
Ok and take care.
