Suggest Treatment For A Painful Blister On The Chin

on Tuesday, I had a small blister on my chin which weeped and skin peeled and the blister has enlarged by today to the size of a quarter. Not a deep blister .. more surface but is now scabbing. I am using a hydrocortisone cream on the area but can tell the blistered area could be getting larger. It is dry in the center but can tell it will continue to peel on the edges. no change in laundry soap, face wash or anything that would set off an allergy.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain a painful blister over the chin that weeped and the blister has enlarged along with scabbing can be due to causes like Hair follicle infection, infected sebaceous gland, ingrown hair etc..

You should start applying a combination of Triple antibiotic ointment over it along with steroid ointment..
Do cool compresses over it..
You can also take anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen to reduce inflammation and pain..
Avoid touching it again and again to prevent infection.

In case if it still does not resolve consult a General Physician and get evaluated..
