Suggest Treatment For A Non Healing Wound Above The Anus

My 89 year old father has a wound just above his anus. It is abount 1/2 inch long and has been treated by a wound clinic for near one year and
has not improved. We use the dressings that the doctor uses and change
it daily or when it comes off, whichever is first. What other options are available to help heal the wound.
