Hello! I have had a small lump apprx 1 inch above my belly button. I've had 3 kids and never had a problem until I started weight training - that is when the lump appeared. I did have a very small stretch mark above my belly button from the pregnancies. I was training at the gym today and it looks like something has pushed thru the stretch mark and is protruding. Like a bubble of flesh sort of. After I relax it goes back in and I am left with a scab that heals in a few days. Any ideas? Thanks so much =)
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have incision hernia. Your skin is weaker after healing and with increased intra abdominal pressure abdominal content protrude from that site. You should avoid weight lifting, avoid straining. Consult your doctor and go fro examination. Surgery is the treatment of choice. Meshplasty or other surgery can be done according to need. Hope I have answered your question, if you have any doubts then contact me at bit.ly/Drsanghvihardik, I will be happy to answer you. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
