Suggest Treatment For A Lump In The Forehead

I hit my head 2 weeks ago and had a substantial lump on my forehead. The size has reduced, but the core lump where i impacted my head is still there and still very sensitive. I had a CT scan at the time and all ok. But why hasn t the swelling or pain subsided?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that there might be having formation of hematoma on the site at the time of injury.
Gradually hematoma subsided but some amount of collected blood remained.
This is now encapsulated giving rise small lump.
As it is sensitive and painful there is likely of having some infection inside.
Consult surgeon and get examined.
Aspiration of blood might require.
Meanwhile apply ice pack.
Ok and take care.
