HELLO, I AM A CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT. I HAVE A FRIEND WHO BEEN HAVE THIS LARGE KNOT ON HIS BACK THAT BEEN CAYSING HIM ALOT OF PAIN. HE REFUSE TO LET THIM PUT A NEEDLE TO DRAW FLUID OUT. NOW COULD YOU GIVE HE THE BEST OPIONING ADVICE TO GIVE MY FRIEND. I SAY THEY MAY DO LASER SURGERY.

A knot can be due to some benign reason,also it can be of sinister reason.here in this case a histopathological examination is needed to know the exact pathology of this.for that needle aspiration of fluid is necessary.because knowing the cause is not only necessary to decide exact mode of necessary(like what u said laser surgery or others) but also the prognosis that is whether it will recur in that place.so try to motivate your good friend to go for needle aspiration.
