Suggest Treatment For A Head Injury

Hi..I have an oddball set of stairs that spiral and narrow on the right side. I missed one step and found myself 7 steps below and hitting my head on the hardwood before I knew what happened. It is two days latter. I feel a little delirious and my right eye has a burst blood vessel or blood leaking out from behind my right eye. I hit my head on the back left. I haven t wet the bed since I was 12 and that just happened too. Should I go to the ER?

Hello,

Please report to an ER physician immediately as mentioned in the history, blood is leaking behind the right eye region. Suturing might be required mostly based on the history provided. And CT scan brain is needed. Don't strain yourself. Don't blow the nose or sneeze very forcibly. Absolute bed rest is required for two to three weeks. Please do follow up with a neurosurgeon, you will recover soon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah
