Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I spilled boiling water on my hand about 30 minutes ago and I didn't know I wasn't suppose to put an ice pack on the burn so I did but after doing a little more research I took the ice pack off and i don't have aloe Vera or an adult at home at the moment. I'm in a lot of pain right now. What can I do to ease the pain? Thanks.
Advice 1. Put your hand in cool tap water for 10 minutes 2. Apply SILVEREX cream locally every 12 hours 3. Ibuprofen 600 mg every 8 hours after meal for first 2 days then as per needed when pain occurs 4. Do not use ice 5. Do not apply cotton as small fiber may stick to the wound 6. Keep the wound open Thanks
