Suggest Treatment For Trichomoniasis

Hi i was just diagnosed with trich and I took the meds however one of the joints in my finger hurts very badly and I've never had this happen before I assume this is what arthritis would feel like is there anyway the two are connected? I looked it up and this may be septic arthritis, do you think a campus wellness center could test or treat for that or would i have to go to a hospital?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.

Arthritis of finger joint has no relation to Trichomonas infestation.

There are different modalities of dosages as far as Trichomonas treatment is concerned, ranging from single day therapy, 5 days therapy or 7 days therapy etc.
Similarly Trichomoanas can be treated by drugs like Metranidazole, Tinidazole and Ornidazole etc. Your treating physician will choose the appropriate regimen suits for you after examined you.
Get well soon.
