Suggest Treatment For TB Scarring On My Lungs

heloo doctor hi when i was 7yr old i got tb n i complet my medical treatment bt now in d age of 27 i came to no that i have tb scares in my lungs (nodular opacity seen in upper right) i am applying for dubai and i came to know that the rule in dubai for the scare is strict. please suggest me how so solve the problem thankyou.

I can understand your concern.
Tuberculosis once heal produce either fibrosis or calcification. Both of these appear as scar tissue on chest x ray.
For visa problem, I advice you to consult pulmonologist and get done
1. CT thorax
2. Bronchoscopy and BAL (bronchoalveolar lavage) analysis.
CT thorax is much more informative then chest x ray for lung scarring.
Bronchoscopy and BAL analysis is more accurate in diagnosis of tuberculosis.
If both these are negative for tuberculosis then you can argue with visa authority about not having active, infectious disease. And your x ray lesions are old, healed, inactive scar tissue only.
So consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
