Suggest Treatment For PCOS

Hi, I m 29 and I had an u/s two days ego.It showed 18-24 follicles in both ovaries. Doctor said its pcos. We didn t check my hormones or insulin resistance. I have always had regular periods, ovulation(I hope a sticky discharge indicates it) and normal weight. I m married,but we are not planning kids for another 2 years. What should I do?

Hi welcome to HCM....

You are having PCOS ...
For that blood sugar level and hormonal profile should done as hyperglycemia and high androgen can be present in PCOS. ...

In PCOS there are chance of endometrial hyperplasia and cancer and also of type 2 insulin resistance diabetics and high blood pressure ....
So regular treatment and follow up needed

Treatment done with ....
-hormonal pill
-metformin
-antiandrogen if needed
-loose weight if obese
-exercise

If difficulty in conceiving than clomiphene can be given ...
