Suggest Treatment For PCOS

Hello. I am 24 years old and I have PCOS. After a year of birth control I stopped taking it 2 months ago, but I am still taking my metformin twice a day. My last period was on the 10th of august and it lasted 5 days. After my period I began taking my metformin 3 times a day. MY left nipple is itchy, sometimes feel light headed, I m having a little pain on the left side of my stomach and I feel nauseous. My breasts are sometimes sore also. I really need help... I want to have another baby but I know it s going to be difficult. What do I do now? Please help. I also feel bloated.

Hi,
In the current scenario, it is possible that you may have ovulated as you are on Metformin, and in such an instance, pregnancy chances are high if you are sexually active without protection around the fertile period. It is too early to say if you are just past half-way of your cycle, even through blood tests. If basal body temperature recording is done right from day one of the cycle, ovulation is indicated by a rise of temperature and this persists if pregnancy has occurred. This is the only early way to know. Else, you have to wait for your next period and go for a HPT if you miss it, or go for a blood test. Hope this helps.
