Suggest Treatment For IBS And Back Pain

If you have a constant pain in the middle of your stomach going down and your stomach feels like you have swalloed a basketball, could it be related to your uterus? I have been for years with a gastrooenterlogist and he diagnosed it as IBS but I seem to be getting worse and all they do is prescribe more pills, which do not help.I also have a terrible back pain.Is there any correlation?

Hi,

Abdominal pain, if it is middle of the abdomen and not radiated so it may not be due to uterus pain due to uterus always be on the lower side of the abdomen.

IBS may be the cause for the symptoms stated here, IBS (Irritable bowel syndrome) is the functional disorders and it is subtle in symptoms, back pain is another condition which even not related with IBS or Uterus.

It can be a muscular condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
