Suggest Treatment For HIV

Hi, i worry that i may be hiv positive, as i have many symptoms linked with hiv, as does my wife and 4 year old daughter. I am a blood donor and have been for 3 years, last donation being 4 months ago and i have never been informed that potential infections have been found in my blood tests? Please help, i worry constantly and need reassurance.

I guess , your history is incomplete. Donating blood does not causes HIV and just looking at your symptoms ,no body can't judge HIV. To diagnose HIV you and your family need to go for HIV tests. And above all what are those symptoms which you think could be of HIV , You did not mention and what is risk factor? HIV is not transmitted though air, you need to fluid contact with an infected person to have HIV.

Hello
As you mentioned that you are a regular blood donor for last 3 years . You also donated blood just 4 months ago .
Blood tests are done for STDs, HIV and other communicable diseases before any blood donation i.e. 4 months ago you were HIV free.
Now you mentioned that you are having symptoms simulating HIV infection symptoms , so also your child and your wife .
But I doubt ,that all of you are HIV victim .
Since you are in so STRESS so I recommend you get in P 24 nucleic acid amplification test ( pcr , rna )not only for you but also for your wife and daughter .
For your information I am writing the symptoms of HIV infection:
Fever, pharyngitis ( sore throat ) ,lymphadenopathy ( generalized ) , headache/retro-orbital pain, arthralgias/myalgias, lathragy/malaise, nausea/vomiting/diarrhea , anorexia / weight loss.
Other are ;erythematous maculapapular rashes , mucocutaneous ulceration ( in mouth and on the tongue i.e. white coating type ).
These symptoms presents virtually in all patients .
Since you din't mention the complete history of contract so it is very difficult to establish any diagnosis .
Hope this will help you.
