In GERD, contents of the stomach come back into the esophagus. There are several causes of GERD. One possible reason has to do with the muscle at the bottom of the esophagus. Normally, this muscle closes to keep food and stomach acid from coming back up the esophagus. In some people with GERD, this muscle does not always work right. GERD often causes heartburn, a burning feeling in the chest and throat. Heartburn may happen many times a week, especially after eating or at night.
Advice
1.     Omeprazole 20 mg per oral empty stomach in the morning for 7 days
2.     Domperidone 10 mg per oral when you feel nausea
3.     Avoid alcohol, smoking, spicy food, and non-steroidal pain killer for few days
4.     Avoid coffee and tea after meal
5.     Avoid eating 3 hours before lying down
6.     Raise the head of your bed
7.     Do not eat heavily at a time. Eat smaller meals
8.     Do not lie down immediately after meal
For cold
1.     Levocetirizine 5 mg daily per oral for 5 days
2.     Amoxicillin 500 mg every 8 hours per oral for 7 days
3.     Ranitidine 150 mg twice daily per oral for 15 days
4.     Ambroxol 30 mg daily per oral for 5 days
5.     Do gargle with slight warm salt water four times daily
6.     Avoid dust, smoking, dry environment and spicy food
7.     Consult an ENT specialist for general examination of your nasal passage
Thanks
