General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,
You need to consult a Vascular Surgeon or I can help you if you need online help. I would suggest you stop Warfarin now and continue with Ecosprin and Folic acid. also get a color Doppler of the venous system of the affected limb. This will tell us the status of your veins. In any case you do not require to continue Warfarin more than six months if this was the first episode of the Thrombosis(DVT).
You can contact me for further details by leaving a Direct or Specialist query.
Take care,
Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
