Suggest Treatment For Acute Pancreatitis

I had an attack of Acute pancreatitis in Oct 2009. I was given treatment and was back to normal in 4 months. Again I had an attack in april 2010 and then again I was treated. Now my Amylase level is 601 and its climbing. I have a dull pain in the right side radiating to my back. But apart from that I dont have any of the symptoms that I experienced before. I am taking panlipase capsules in a dosage of 2-2-2. I dont want to get admitted to the hospital. What can I do? My amylase level is climbing up though I am taking medicines.

I can understand your concern.
Recurrent acute pancreatitis can lead to chronic pancreatitis and pseudo cyst formation.
And in both these conditions, abdominal pain is seen with rise in pancreatic enzymes (amylase and lipase).
So better to consult gastroenterologist and get done ultrasound and CT scan of abdomen.
You may need surgical removal on the basis of diagnosis.
