Suggest treatment for 30 percent artery blockage

Hi, In 2011 I was diagnosed with complete heart blockage & had a pacemaker implanted .. since then I have never regained stamina, tire very easy, at times dizziness. I have had an angiogram and an echocardiogram. There was a 30 % blockage in one artery with my angiogram. When I overdo it I get very tired I lose my colour. The only thing I can do is lay down and have a sleep. I am 61 years of age, I am overweight but losing weight as fast as I can. I take hydochlorothiazide for blood pressure. What do I need to do to get back my ability to do physical work?

I would like to explain that when discussing your physical capacity it is necessary to consider your overall cardiac performance (mainly by echo) and your physical de-conditioning.

Only after reviewing them both, it would be possible to decide the right strategy to improve your physical profile and the most suitable training program.

In addition, some lab test is advisable to verify your thyroid glands, liver and renal function; blood electrolytes level.

Closely controlling your BP values would be recommended.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

I am 44 and was recently diagnosed with a hole in my heart (ASD), I had an angiogram and my arteries are clear and saturation levels perfect. I was taken to hospital as I have been struggling to get a breath in, I had slight tightness in my chest and general odd feeling of unwell. After diagnosis I was told to make an appointment with the cardiologist in 4-6 weeks time. Since being home I still suffer tightening in my chest and sometimes sharp jabbing pains, when this happens to the left of middle chest it feels like it travels up through my neck into my jaw. I also occasionally get sharp pains in right shoulder blade towards the middle of my back. I left a message with the cardiologist last Tuesday to call last me, but he hasn t returned my call; all I want to know is this my new normal until the hole is fixed? Do I just put up with it? I am also extremely tired and become exhausted easily.

hi, my father had a mild heart attack a week ago. He underwent an echo test, ecg and blood tests at the time of problem on basis of which the doctors suggested he had a mild heart attack. One of the doctors we consulted has suggested to undergo TMT first on the basis of which he will decide whether angiography is necessary. The other doctor suggested to go directly for angio as TMT won t give a conclusive result. Can anyone suggest if TMT will be necessary.
