Suggest Treatment For 2 Missed Menstrual Cycles Due To PCOS

hi, I have one question. My sister have a polycystic ovary syndrome. She didn t get menses above 2 month. Dr. Gave her dupbaston , 1 tablet daily for 5 days but she didn t get menses yet. Would you guide me please? May be she needs another medicine about get her menses?

Welcome to HCM,
I read your query carefully.
As per details,
If she is suffering from PCOs then I would advise you to take
- Take any birthcontrol pills which contain both Estrogen and Progesteron for 3-4 months, It will help in regularisation of her cycle.
- Take Merformin 500mg twice a day with meal (if she is overweight) It will help in reduction of weight.
- Do regular exercise and walk.
- Take healthy and balanced diet.
- Avoid spicy and fast food.
- Go for Pelvic Ultradound after 3-4 months.
If symptoms remain same then I wouls suggest you to visit hospital.
