Hi and thank you so much for this query.

The prescribed treatment of oflox and artemether and lumefantrne is correct for the treatment of typhoid and malaria respectively. She should continue oflox for at least 10days for effective treatment. There is no special diet for persons with malaria or typhoid. Typhoid is waterborne and much attention has to be paid to the handling of food and drinking water so as to prevent it. Malaria is transmitted by mosquito bite and prevent bites is mandatory for prevention. For now, continue the medications. If the fever should persist, then her diagnosis and treatment needs a review. What are her temperatures when having fever?

I hope this helps. I wish you well.
