Doctor, i am having high levels of TSH i.e. 70+ which is too high and the t3 & t4 levels are in normal range, my skin is so dry that i get itching problem, my weight is also above normal i.e. 70 kgs + while i eat less. My baby was also having high levels of TSH when born but got normal after one & half months. Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello,

All you can do to improve the situation is to correct the dose of levothyroxine until TSH is normal. The dose needed may be up to 300 mcg of Levothyroxine. Nothing else can help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Mirjeta Guni, Endocrinologist
