Suggest Treatmenet For Thyroid

hi my mother in law is having thyroid from the last one and a half year she is having a lot of side effects.she is having arthritis problem but she is saying after thyroid this pain is incresed. she is having extra skin on her neck and on her shoulders .
please advice what should we do for this.

Have you checked her thyroid function test. Get her TSH, Free T3 and T4 levels done. On the basis of report it would be possible to decide whether she is taking correct dosage. Also ensure she takes thyroid medicine on empty stomach.
