Suggest The Ideal Dosage For Diclofenac

I am using diclofenac. Instructions are 1 tab twice a day. I am not getting pain relief (in my right hip); so I asked at the pharmacy. She said it is safe to take 3 per day, but that is the maximum. At this rate I am getting very small relief. Is it safe to take more per day, or is there something similar but stronger I should ask my doctor about?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of pain and you took Diclofenac for that and you have not mentioned the dosage which you took. Maximum dosage which you can take is 150 mg in a day. So if you are taking 50 mg one tablet then take 3 times a day and if 75 mg then take 2 times a day, otherwise you will have complications like sneezing, runny nose. I would suggest you to take heavy painkiller such as Tramadol if your symptoms really troubling you and visit general physician once and gt it examined and start treatment accordingly.
