Hello dear Understand your concern You have to use obstetrician prescribed abortion pill after confirming intrauterine pregnancy of less than 63 days by USG scan. Because it is not used if pregnancy is outside the uterine cavity. It should be used under observation after getting expert opinion from obstetrician. Do not use at home by your self as it cause serious bleeding, chance of failure , incomplete abortion with infection, abnormal development of pregnancy. All above condition require surgery and special care. Mifepristone 600 mg orally after meal should be followed by 800 ug misoprostol vaginally by doctor after 48 hour. Extra dose may be needed in some case. Usg is done at 14th day to confirm complete process of abortion Side effects are very less if used under aseptic condition and under guidance like moderate bleeding, headache, cramps, tiredness, back pain etc. Rest for 24-48 hours, analgesic, healthy diet with iron and vitamins supplements are advisable.
