Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for providing the brief history of the patient.

A thorough Neuromuscular assessment is advised for the patient.

As, there is a disc degeneration and stenosis in the cervical spine the following method of approach should be implemented.

step 1
Thorough neuromuscular assessment perfomed

Step 2
Therapeutic Ultrasound Therapy & TENS therapy
Note : Avoid traction therapy due to stenosis, which may worsen the conditon

Step 3
Static neck exercises after 3 sessions of physiotherapy as the pain level will be reduced on VAS scale

Step 4
Continue Neck exercises after application of electrotherapy

Step 5
Myofascial release of the Trapezius muscle

Step 6
Continue Same therapy along with upper limb strengthening. Also, include breathing exercises for strengthening the accessory muscles of respiration.

Step 7
Recommend patient to follow the do's and don'ts
