I m myopic and 2 years back my retina was detached after that doctor advise me to wear only glass and dont use contact len s. My power is more than +12 on both side. While wearing glass, it looks very odd. I want to know about thin eyeglass for this power.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having high myopia . High myopia can cause retinal detachment because of associated retinal problems like retinal thinning.
You can use high index glasses and these are thin when compared to regular glasses.
