Hi,

Clomid contains clomifene that belongs to the group of medications known as ovulation stimulants is used in the treatment of female infertility and help women who have problems with ovulation by stimulating the ovary to release eggs. But like other medications this medication has some side effects of its own too. It may cause stomach pain or discomfort, GIT upset, bloating, indigestion, diarrhea etc.

Other side effects of this medication are nausea, vomiting, headache, abnormal vaginal or uterine bleeding, breast tenderness and enlargement, mood swings, depression, flushing, blurred vision, rapid weight gain, changes in appetite, dizziness, breakthrough bleeding or spotting, little or no urinating, back pain, abnormal heart beats, allergic reactions etc. Most of these side effects are self limiting and usually go away on their own over time as the body adjusts to this medication. But, if these side effects persist for long or bother you then you should inform your doctor first for medical help.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
