Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am experiencing upper left stomach discomfort. It started this morning around 2 a.m. and it got progressively worst. However, around 6 a.m. the discomfort was not as intense. Nevertheless, the discomfort is still there. Usually, I get this feeling when I eat after 6 p.m. This is the worst it has been.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern. Upper left stomach discomfort can be due to many reasons. Gastric problems are common like Dyspepsia, gastritis, GERD, may seem like heartburn or burning sensation in chest, pain in sternum etc. This will relieved somewhat by taking antacids.
First of all you should take pantoprazole 40mg empty stomach. Also you should visit a physician for referal as these symptoms persist, it might be due to Angina pectoris / heart attack. In that case you will have tightess in chest, difficulty in breathing, pain in left side of chest radiating in hand or jaw.
Hope your query is solved Get well soon
