Suggest Remedy To Reduce Swelling In Parotid Area And Ear Membrane

I am having swelling in my left parotid area. I get a whistling sound too in that left ear. 4 year back i had swelling on my ear membrane. Hearing capacity of left ear is 25 percent less than right ear. Suggest the proper treatment. I shall be highly obliged. Thank you.

You are having parotid swelling as well as some your problem history as well. So your local parotid gland examination and ear examination is needed. Otoscopy examination also needed. If inflammatory swelling is more than short term steroid course can be prescribed. If ear infection is present then antibiotic ear drop or oral antibiotic can be prescribed. Consult otorhinolaryngologist for examination.
