Suggest Remedy To Prevent Vomiting After Taking Hyoscomine
My 15 year old daughter has just been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel with Fat Malabsorbtion. She has been prescribed Hyoscomine 0.125mg tablets twice a day, every day. Within 6 to 8 hours of taking them she is throwing them up along with her last meal.

Noted the history bout your 15 year old daughter about her being diagnosed as IBS and vomiting of tablet and food after taking Hyoscomine tables.
This indicates that wither she has some other problem or is allergic to to the tablets she is taking.
First of all stop the medications.
Consult her Doctor for detailed clinical evaluation and examination.
Review of investigations to know the causes is a better idea. Request your Doctor to have complete investigations to have a proper diagnosis.
The battery of investigations are as follows:
CT scan of abdomen with Enteroclysis, this will help to find out any small bowel obstruction that caused the vomiting of food and tablets.
Upper GI Endoscopy and colonoscopy.
Tests of stool and blood.
All these will help to know the exact cause and if found can be treated specifically.
If all the investigations are normal then only this can be taken as a case of Irritable bowel syndrome and needs control of the instigating factors like stress, anxiety, foods and beverages.
There are other medications also for IBS that can be tried.
