Suggest Remedy To Grow The Bog Toe Nails Into Normal Nails
Hi there, all my toenails are normal apart from both big toes !! The nail is sort of square shaped but at the sides it grows inwards and is slightly wonky looking. They re not painful but I was wondering if there s a way to stop this so they grow nice and circle shaped ?
I have noted your details and concerns. You seem to be having ingrowing toenails.
This condition typically affects more the big toenails and is the result of footwear pressure forcing the nails to grow curved and assuming the picture that you just described.
Here are some of the things that you can manage easily to recover normal nails. 1 relive the pressure on nails by wearing suitable shoes.
2 Use antibiotic and or anti fungal preparations locally so that the probability of a deformed nail getting infected is minimized.
3 pain can be relieved by analgesics and you will need them just for a few days
4 A surgery is the last option which may be avoidable by following simple measures first.
As the nail growth continues in the coming months, the fresh nail plate will start getting straightened and the wonky looking part will be paired off.
Most patients having moderate involvement do very well with simple measures of rest to the part and symptomatic treatment. I am sure you stand a good chance to heal the affected area by simple means. Best wishes
