Suggest Remedy To Avoid Pregnancy
Hello I had my period last June 1 and ended on June 6, I had sex today June 14 without protection (condom). I am fertile? and Will I get pregnant? I had a history of ovarian cyst. I have only one ovary left, my right ovary was removed because of my cyst. should I take pills even I had sex already is it not late or its too late for me to take the pills. I am afraid if I get pregnant. Please can you help me if I am fertile today or not?Thank you and Hoping for your response

Yes, you can get pregnant even with one ovary. You need to take emergency contraceptive pills within 72 hours of unprotected sex. You can also prevent pregnancy by IUD insertion within 5 days of unprotected sex. However it is better if you use any regular contraceptive method to prevent pregnancy in future.
