Suggest Remedy For White String Like Things In Stool
Hi I am a 34 year old female I have noticed white string looking things in my stool and I am very fatigued. I m not sure if its mucus or something else.I have a picture that isn t very clear but top edge of stool has white string like stuff and a piece is floating in top left corner
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history of white stings on the stool and not sure whether it is mucus or what and the stool is floating. Your Pictures would have helped. I would advise you in such a situation the following: Send the sample for tests preferably for 3 consecutive days. Test of blood and urine Consult your Doctor and take a course of medicines as per the history and the stool report and it may be metronidazole if there is amoebiasis. If there is no further problems, complete the course, take some probiotics. If this is not conclusive, you may need further investigations like colonoscopy and treatment would then be according to the findings.
