Suggest Remedy For White Spots

Hi, my friends daughter has white spots on the outside of her nose running from the nostril over the bridge to the other nostril, they have been there for approx. 4 yrs but are now coming to the surface and turning into large pimples, she is embarrassed & mum seems reluctant to take her to the Dr. Could it be dietary? Milk etc

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

Seems to me that they are white heads/ closed comedones. They are the precursors of inflammatory acne unlike blackheads/ open comedones which are harmless other than being a cosmetic concern.

Acne are related to the age rather than to dietary factors.

I would suggest her an oral antibiotic e.g doxycycline or azithromycin for inflammatory acne.

Topically she could use either clindamycin gel or benzoyl peroxide gel twice daily.

Regards
