Suggest Remedy For White Bumps Inside Lips And Rashes On Leg And Arm
my 2 year old son has white bumps inside his lips and a rash on his right leg and under his arm and on his side. He has a slight fever and seems to be very uncomfortable. it is too late in the day to take him to his pcp. I would like to know what it could be and if i should take him to the er.
I could not get whether bumps on lips appeared along with fever or it was already there even before. Here I assume the later situation. Fever and rash is probably from a viral fever. The rash may be somewhat itchy, making him uncomfortable. Just give him paracetamol 3-4 times a day and calamine lotion for application over rash if itchy.
If itching is disturbing, I used to prescribe anti0histamine like hydroxyzine to my patients. White bump on lips are usually mucus retention cysts - may disappear its own after sometime. If concerning, can be removed under local anaesthesia (drugs wont help much). If the bumps appeared along with fever, I recommend to see your doctor as we have rule out herpes infection.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
