Suggest Remedy For Uncomfortable Feeling In Vagina After Sex

I bought apple cider vinegar and baking soda to help with vaginal orders. After sex and working out I feel so uncomfortable. I ve been tested for STDs, but I don t have anything. I see that most women have yeast infections or BV, but that s not the case for me either. So what can it be? How do I treat this?

Hi,

First of all, it is never a good idea to put anything in the vagina that might alter the normal bacteria that are present. You should not put vinegar and baking soda in as you are basically doing a homemade douche. While you may not technically have bacterial vaginosis or yeast, you are almost certainly altering the normal bacteria. You are better off eating yogurt and taking a probiotic such as Florajen Acidophilus.

General & Family Physician Dr. Olgeta Xhufka 's  Response
Hello,

The bad odour is mainly caused by bacterial vaginosis. It needs treatment for 12 days with vaginal ovula.

In our clinic we prefer Polygynax. It contains polymyxin, nystatin and neomycin. It has antifungal and antibacterial properties.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
